Plantilla kds febrero 14

Interesting yes? And open to so many possibilities!

This lo is all about my hubby! I used some printables, from two peas, some PL cards and other goodies that I had to get a neutral color lo. I love the use of this sketch to get the look that I wanted.

Sodalicious Awakening challenge!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share my latest journal page that I did for the Sodalicious 'Awakening' challenge. Fun....thought provoking!

The challenge:

Yup, this time they want to see your interpretations for 'Awakening'.

What a fun challenge! I decided to do a page on 'awakening' my senses for sushi. I always have said "NO" to sushi....I mean, just the thought of it!!!!!!! .......... that was until one day I TRIED it.....,holding my nose, mind you......but to my surprise...... it was good!

Yup, I guess the key to life....is to give those 'yucky things' a try! Lol!

The super fun sketch:

I really love the simplicity of the sketch and it's cool color drips....so many possibilities!

For this sketch, I decided to do a lo about a spontaneous moment that I had while out and about with my sister.

I thought the 'girls' embellie was perfect to represent one of our adventures.....wonderful and fun memories for sure!

Yup, life is too short to go through with out some spontaneous, silly moments!

As always, thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

Sodalicious Habits challenge!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a journal page that I did for the Sodalicious "Habits" challenge. Love this fun challenge! Yup, we all have habits and one of my biggest is drinking coffee and tea EVERY DAY!

Here's the challenge:

To show my tea habit, I sketched out a cup filled with tea. For the coffee, I cut a strip from one of my Starbucks instant coffee wrappers.

The added numbers represent the numbers of cups that I might have on any given day!

I also added some journaling as a reminder to myself to try to have.....perhaps one less cup per day....lol!

What's your habit.....do tell! Lol!

As always, thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Playing card fun!

Hi everyone! Today I am super excited to share my first Gauche Alchemy DT blog project with you! Yippee!!!!! I am doing cartwheels, flips, and headstands over here!!! I just absolutely LOVE their kits and all of their little tidbits that they have to offer! It's February, and love is in the air,  so I decided to use one of the large playing cards, from  my  GA playing-card-variety-pack , to make a project of hubby and I.
The minute I saw this card, in the kit,  I wanted to use it so I pulled out my paints along with my GA Mixed media color kits and started to play around!
Since I wanted to have a pink/red theme, I used the pink polka dot napkin, from the napkin-art-kit, for part of my background. Love the way the napkin makes this 'pop'! I also wanted some sparkle, so I added some round 'pink' shiny stones and pink punchinella from the pink-parts-mixed-media-color-kit. Next I  added the tile, with the letter "I" on it, from the scarlet-fever-mixed-media-color-kit, to form my title...."I love you bebe".

Those sweet hanging hearts and stars, on the bottom right corner, is a sticker from the pink MM color kit.

What kind of a 'February theme' are you playing around with? I invite you to start with one of our amazing kits! You're going to love them!

As always, thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
Hugs!

Paperdvizhnik Stylization challenge!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share the latest Paperdvizhnik Stylization challenge with you. For this challenge, you simply use the simplification of enough forms and shapes together  to form a picture in it's summarized form/state. For me, I used simply stroke lines to form the hair on this gal, and more simple stroke lines to form a face.

the challenge:

And a close-up:

We'd love for you to play along with us! I can't wait to see what combination you use to come up with a summarized form.

As always, thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Scraptastic sketch challenge!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a lo that I did, about hubby, for the latest Scraptastic Club sketch challenge. I had been getting their awesome PL kits, but found that I didn't have time to do PL pages, so when I saw the sketch challenge, I decided to use some of my Scraptastic PL goodies on top of that cool patterned background paper, that I also got from Scraptastic.

The sketch:

Hubby went on a bike/run race in November that was very fast, competitive, and dirty,  and I wanted to capture this so I dirtied this up a tad to get that feeling.

Close-ups:

The papers behind the pics are actually PL cards. The black swish mark under the bike photo is a Scraptastic stamp.

And the 'focus' embellie here, is yet another wonderful PL card cut up.....I thought these were perfect for the feel that I wanted to capture.

As always, thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
Hugs!
