Capturing life on PL cards!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a project life card that I used to document some of my memories that I want to keep. Yup, one card, two cool sides! I love the thought of capturing important memories using project life cards but I don't want the pressure of weekly documenting so I decided that I will do 'monthly' PL pages and/or capture important or fun events on the large PL cards and then file them in a box to look through throughout the year.

This is my first card, for my box, that I did. I wanted to remember the 'herb' table that hubby and I made for the yard and the stairs that we made. This came together so fast and super fun by using The Paper Bakery  'Capture 365' kit. Love this PL kit and all it's wonderful goodies!

Here's the front of one card:

That super cool light bulb stamp is a Paper Bakery stamp. Don't you just love it! For this side of the card, I used the 'Capture 365' stars, alpha, and PL card. I also used some yellow paint and part of a 'popcorn' bag, from the July PB mixed media kit.

Here's the back of the card:

For this side, I used more of the alphas, a star and stamp from the 'Capture 365' kit and then one of TPB flair buttons.
Love these cards and goodies along with a super easy and manageable system which I can file away with tabs for each month or even by the season with the end result being a wonderful box of memories without any stress of having to 'keep up' with weekly documenting! Oh yeah!

If you would like to take a peak at TPB 'Capture 365' kit, or any of the other wonderful kits, you can here. You're going to love what you see and if you are a subscriber, you get FREE cut/prt'd files, which are alternated each month.

As always, thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
Hugs!

Love the fun pattern papers in this amazing kit! I used several behind/around the photo. On the photo, I used a vellum travel frame from a full package of Studio Calico die-cut vellum shapes, which is also included in the kit. here is a close-up:

I also used round vellum shapes to the side of the photo. This package has such a variety of shapes that go together fabulously with the rest of the goodies in this kit. Here is a close-up:

The challenge:

For my color side, I used paint, sprays, a flower wrapper, washi tape, and one of my favorite stencils from My Favorite Things "progressive dots".

Here are some close-ups:

For my non-color side, I contrast my photo, and added some vintage pattern tissue paper and washi tape.

PL page

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a page that I did using The Paper Bakery July PL kit. I have seen so many beautiful PL pages and have wanted to try it, but never seemed to have the time or pics to go with what I'd want to do a page on. Recently, when The Paper Bakery announced that they now are offering a PL kit, I decided to give it a whirl. I didn't want the pressure of doing weekly pages, so I decided that I would do MONTHLY pages. I bought a 12 x 12 book and ordered TPB kit and, voila.....my first monthly page! Love the idea of this....I can mark my calendar, and put the cherished moments/events down on paper so that I'll have them to look back on. This is the perfect answer for me.....without the pressure. Yeah!

To create this page, I took a white cardstock paper, from TPB July cardstock add-on pkg. and then colored it with the yummy yellow H2O and green metallic rub, from TPB July mixed media kit. Next I added some of the patterned papers, amazing PL cards, washi tape, and flair buttons, which was included in the PL kit. So easy, and I have the important monthly events documented!

Here are some close-ups:

Love the look of the snazzy PL cards behind my pics and washi tape here and there.

That cool flair button is one that's in the kit and the round circles with the words are from one of the pp's that's in the kit.

Love the vintage radio PL card. This kit is jammed pack with all kinds of neat PL cards to go with all kinds of events.

If you would like to take  a peak at this kit, or anyone of the other fabulous kits, you can here. You're going to love what you see! And if you're interested in subscribing, now is a perfect time because every month you now get FREE cut/prt'd files, which are alternated every month. This month we have FREE cut files for EVERYONE to celebrate our new look, so hop on over to TPB blog and grab yours now!

Mini books

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a couple of mini books that I made, out of bags, using more of My Favorite Things stencils. Wow! I just LOVE these stencils! The first book I made is for hubby to keep track of his bike races/adventures. I picked the MFT "graduated Diamonds" stencil for the background because this one reminded me of a tire track. I thought it was perfect!

Here's some close-ups of this fabulous stencil:

The next book, I made for me, to keep my special photos in.

For this book, I used the amazing "graduated hexagons" stencil. I thought this one was perfect for this because it reminded me of the top of the camera knobs.....so cool!

Sail away!

Hi everyone! Today I like to share a canvas that I made using The Paper Bakery July mixed media kit. Wow! I just absolutely love this kit. It has some fabulous 'get messy' goodies like twinkling H2O, Viva green metallic rub, and Viva gold modeling paste in it. Great products to try if you haven't tried them yet!

Also included in the kit are doilies, so I decided to use one as the sail. I made the bottom part, of the boat, from an old book page strip, that I had from a previous mm kit, and a neat 'popcorn bag', which is in this kit. The chain, behind the sail, is an exclusive Paper Bakery stencil that's in the kit.

Another goodie, that I love using, is the Paper Bakery Flair buttons! I can not get enough of these! So addicting! Lol!!!!!!

If you would like to take a peak at any of the fabulous kits that The Paper Bakery has to offer you can here. And all subscribers get FREE cut/prt'd files, that are alternated every month.
